The dargah in Ajmer has the tomb of Khawaja Moinuddin Chisti. He came to India around 1191 AD and spread Islam in India through his tolerant attitude. Almost every review on Ajmer will tell you about the tomb of Khawaja Moinuddin Chisti, so I thought I should give you some other information. A part of Akbarís fort was converted into the Rajputana museum. The museum has ancient coins and sculptures. There are many antiques in the museum, such as pots, ceramic and marble plates and armoury. These antiques are priceless. Akbarís fort is a small but strong fort situated in Ajmer. In the centre of the fort is the place where Emperor Jahangir had a meeting with the British ambassador, Sir Thomas Roe. The Nasiyan Jain temple is held in high reverence by digambar jains. It is a gorgeous red temple, located on Prithviraj road. It was constructed by Mulcahnd Soni in the 19th century. The Nasiyan temple is dedicated to Rishabhdeoji, who is a God of digambar jains. The Ana sagar lake was built by King Anaji, who was Prithviraj Chauhanís grandfather. It is a wonderfull place, where one can forget the worries of the world and relax. The Daullat bagh was built by Emperor Jahangir and it is built on the banks of the Ana sagar lake.
